RESEARCH SUMMARY: Research in our laboratory investigates basic and applied aspects of gamete physiology and endocrinology in horses. Areas of gamete research include oocyte collection, maturation and transfer; in vitro fertilization; and nuclear transfer. Areas of endocrine research include regulation of prostaglandin F2a secretion during luteolysis and maternal recognition of pregnancy.
