Research Summary

We utilize genetic engineering, biomolecular engineering, bioengineering, cell biology, and polymeric gene/drug delivery to create systems that can be programmed to perform multiple functions. Our main goal is to design a delivery system that can be programmed to evade the immune system, adapt to its environment, find its target and deliver therapeutically relevant molecules to the target cells with high efficiency/toxicity ratio.
